More often, I am getting a really sharp, jabbing pain on the outside of my left lung. It only lasts for a few seconds. This will continue for several days and then it subsides and disappears for a while. I am in the very severe classification of COPD and have asthma as well.
Another issue I have is that I get the feeling of a tight band around the girth of my torso, just under my breasts, all the way around my torso. It becomes harder to breathe, of course. This could last for days. Is this an asthma symptom?
Thank you for any help you can give.

Hi. Stopping in to introduce myself and join in the board if that is ok. Feel free to call me Moonie. Blue Moon is one of my favorite songs. My mom sang it to me as a child and it has a special magic; Whenever the melody reaches my ears my mouth turns upward and my heart gets lighter and sometimes giggles just break right out.
I'm sick but I don't talk about it much. Maybe this will be a safe place where I can ask a few questions now and then.
It's nice to meet you. May I come in?
