About Me
I was officially Diagnosed in 1999 with Emphysema. Went into total denial, I was way too young for this to be happening to me. Not such a good thing to do. My FEV1 is now about 14% and I am listed for a double lung transplant at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. I try to stay as active as possible but there are days when it is so incredibly hard to get things done. I have been waiting for a transplant since 10/06. I am stable at this point and they say that is why it is taking so long. I am a firm believer of good things come to those who wait!!
