I'm a retired factory worker of 22yrs, I started having effects of copd many years before I was diagnosed in 2003. I ended up on the resperator for about a week. I'm sure glad I quit smoking,but it was a hard way to quit! (after several attempts to quit before) I have 5 growen(blended family) kids with 11 grand children and one ggrand-daughter. I'm a widow, live alone in a good area with good neighbors who care fore each other,and family who are nearby a dad who is 86yrs young. I have a good life and taking one day at a time.
