Boosting Pepper Production

In a mister bottle dissolve 1 tsp of Epsom salts in about 3 cups of warm water.
Spray your pepper plants liberally. This vitamin mist will give your pepper plants a boost of magnesium which is necessary during flowering to produce fruit.

Sweeter Disease Free Tomato Tip

Here is a tip for producing amazingly sweet tomatoes that are free from blight, a condition that causes tomatoes to suddenly wilt, rot and then die before the fruits can ripen. This tips also prevents blossom rot . . .
You'll Need:

1 Clean Spray Bottle
1 c. powdered milk
4 c. warm water

Mix the milk
and water together until fully incorporated. Mist any tomato plants that are showing signs of distress such as fungal infection or blight. (You'll need to do this weekly, or until the fungus is completely gone).
The calcium in the milk used to water the plants will also help prevent Blossom Rot, which is often caused by a deficiency of calcium.

Want Sweeter Cucumbers?

If you want your cucumbers to be sweeter simply plant them alongside sunflowers. As they grow, the cucumber tendrils will use the heavy sunflower stalks for climbing support and you'll have the sweetest cucumbers you've ever eaten.
