It was Mother's Day, and Kelly and her girls had just gotten out of bed and were sitting down to enjoy some pancakes.

Kelly mentioned to Mallory, (12), that she had seen an e-mail for her on the computer, and asked if it were from a boyfriend.
Mallory was embarrassed, but Megan, her twin, couldn't wait to tell their mother it was. Kelly asked Mallory, " so what do sixth grade girls do when they have a boyfriend?"
Mallory replied, "I don't know, but one thing I know, you don't let them see you looking like this."
