Community Status Updates

I’m a smoker and I got diagnosed with COPD 6 weeks ago and I’m having a very hard time accepting this and I’ve been so depressed. I quit smoking as soon as I found out but I’m having such hard time breathing since. :(

Just thought i would stop by and say hello. I just got done ready one of your articles you posted on COPD back in july of this year. My husband has COPD and I am his caregiver. He has many other handicaps besides the COPD. Anyway hello and I hope to get to read more of your articles if you have something interesting for me to read send it my way.

Hi Liza. Doing pretty well. I did a little better today at putting off having a cig. The thing I kept repeating is that each puff is bringing me closer to a frightening death..worked pretty well.

Hello all, I'm a COPD'er also, diagnosed in 2003 and still kicking. I'm married with three adult children and 6 grandchildren. I worked in the medical field for most of my life. Retired now, not by choice. I inherited a Pulmonary Support Group called "Huffers and Puffers" and I'm doing my best to make an outstanding group.
